It's back to basic. The bell rings approximately at 7:50am. By then, all the students will be rushing to enter the school's gate. Reason being, to avoid detention. Yeah, detention. Hanging around in the school compound for two miserable hours, cleaning and sweeping the floors. Not the kind of sport you're looking forward to. Definitely. Anyway, what's school without rules and regulations? I know, it spells out in bold H-E-L-L. If rules and regulations are not being implemented in every school, hell is bound to break loose. 100%. Furthermore, with the presence of happy and cheery faces in school really help to boost the students spirits to strive harder! So, that's what exactly happen in MI. Although the first day was weird and funny, i realised that the OGLs(student leaders) put on their best facial expression to welcome all the pre-u 1 students with warm hands. Me, being a jerk(at times), show them my dead-pan expression. I guess, i was very reluctant to show my enthusiasm in participating in the orientation. But before you pass your judgement on me about my demeanor, hear me out first. I HATE ORIENTATIONS! And i have my reason. I just hate cheering because I'm never good at it. Seriously, i sucked BIG-TIME at cheering. Nevertheless, i enjoyed my time in MI. Plus, i really adore my classmates. Even though all of us are from different backgrounds and schools, we're still able to communicate with each other. Regardless of race, language or religion, we will always sit together as a class to have lunch or breaks. We also share a couple of jokes, here and there, to entertain the whole lot of us. Thus, i can say that my class bonding spirit is very strong. Apart from that, tutorials and lectures are OKAY. Well, no matter what, I'm still a student. Hence, I'm bound to get restless or bored at certain lesson. However, I've come to realise that i can't afford to skip or drift off to sleep during lectures. As, all home tutors(teachers) do not normally repeat their lesson. Right now, I'm sick. Damnation. But I'm going to be fit as a fiddle, soon. With the O'levels results around the corner, I'm getting nervous, anxious, frustrated and downright scared. Seriously. But I'm going to face my fear and walk down that bloody hall to get my results. Yeah, superwoman! So, I'm looking forward to meet old pals and teachers. Until then, fingers-crossed. |
