The sole purpose of having signboard is to direct or instruct people. Signboard is specially dessign for people who aren't familiar with the place or rules.

In Singapore, on the other hand, we have signboard written not only in English but also in Malay, Chinese and Tamil. Thus, this actually help those who aren't able to read English or their own language.

Nevertheless, i think some neglet the use of a signboard.

I take the train daily, be it to school or outings. As majority usually takes the train, there's a instruction or rather advice to allow passenger to alight the train first.

Hence, this will avoid any incoveniences to both passenger alighting and bording the train. However, i encounter my very first unpleasant experience when alighting the train after 16 years of taking the train.

Like i say before, passenger must be allow to alight first. Then, there'll be space for others to board the train. In short, this is basic common sense. But apparently some people lack of common sense or simply refuse to heed the advice.

Furthermore, announcements are frequently made, if i'm not mistaken, to remind passenger. Back to my story, a group of youngsters quickly tried to board the train when the door is open without allowing the passenger to alight first. So, as you can visualise, it's impossible for them to board the train when there're many others who wants to alight the train. From there, snickering remarks are being passed from one another.

Plus, the group of teens can simply laughed at the situation. From my perspective, they view this situation as a game of fun and laughter which remind me of pre-school. I certainly hoped that this situation will not repeat as it is equally uncivilised and embarassing.

I've been doing alot of thinking lately.

I guess it's useless to keep on poundering over an old news.

I know it's going to be tough adapting to a new environment.

But i'll try, no matter what it takes.
